Dr. Umar Saeed has dedicated 17 years to the field of Family Medicine, practicing across Texas and Oklahoma. Recognized as one of the top three family medicine physicians in Arlington for several years, Dr. Saeed’s career began with his training at Memorial Hermann Southwest in Houston. He then joined Central Oklahoma Family Medical Center in Konawa, OK, where he served as the medical director, overseeing both urban and rural clinic settings as well as hospital operations. His leadership extended to serving veterans and rural communities.

Transitioning to Emergency Room settings in Texas, Dr. Saeed observed the inefficiencies and resource wastage associated with patients seeking emergency care for non-emergent conditions. This experience inspired him to innovate the urgent care model, focusing on providing timely, cost-effective care that optimizes resources and patient outcomes.

In a short time, Dr. Saeed has transformed the urgent care landscape in North Texas. His approach emphasizes treating patients like family, addressing not just immediate concerns but also providing comprehensive health education. By minimizing unnecessary tests and wait times, he enhances the overall patient experience. Dr. Saeed is now establishing a new urgent care facility in Arlington, TX, named Umar Saeed, MD, to further his mission of accessible, patient-centered care.

Dr. Umar Saeed graduated from Allama Iqbal Medical College, University of Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan in 2000. With over 15 years of experience in Family Medicine and Urgent Care Medicine, he is currently based in Arlington, TX. Fluent in English, Spanish, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi, Dr. Saeed effectively communicates with a diverse patient base.
